Pamela Ball Interpretation: also see Knife
1- To be stabbed in a dream indicates our ability to be hurt.
To stab someone is, conversely, to be prepared to hurt. Since a stab wound is penetrative it obviously has connections with aggressive masculine sexuality, but also with the faculty of being able to get straight to the point.
2- When we make ourselves vulnerable we are open to being hurt. Often a stab is a quick way of achieving a result.
For instance, to be stabbing at something rather than somebody would suggest the need to break through some kind of shell or barrier in order to proceed.
3- When we realise that we can use particular skills, they can assume an almost ritualistic feeling. Fighting and stabbing can then be appreciated as a means of spiritual discipline (as in martial arts). We need to understand appropriate behaviour.

To dream that you stab someone indicates your fear of betrayal and your untrusting nature. You may be too much on the defensive.
Gives gender-specific: Since a stab wound is penetrative it has obvious connections with aggressive masculine sexuality and will have this meaning in feminine dreams. In a man’s dream it is more likely to be to do with his ability to get straight to the point.

is a symbol containing duality This could refer to an unexpected retaliation or injury from another, or it might signify an “attempt” at something
Feeling “wounded” by someone else’s remarks, actions, or attitude; aggressive sexuality. If we are stabbing someone, especially if it is a parent or someone we have linked with emotionally or sexually, there may sometimes exist behind the action the need to sever or kill any dependence upon or bonding with that person. Any anger being felt, in this case, is about the depth of our need or dependence, and the pain at having to sever the connection. Such severance and angry killing of our feelings for someone else usually gives rise to guilt. See weapons.
